What is PREPARE/ENRICH?

PREPARE/ENRICH is a customized couple assessment completed online that identifies a couple's strength and growth areas. It is one of the most widely used Programmes for premarital counseling and premarital education. But there are also customized versions of the inventory used for marriage counseling, marriage enrichment, and dating couples considering engagement. Based on a couple's assessment results, a trained facilitator provides 4-8 feedback sessions in which the facilitator helps the couple discuss and understand their results as they are taught proven relationship skills.

The online Customized Version of PREPARE/ENRICH cost is $50NZD. There will also now be volume discounts for scorings purchased in quantities of 10 or more.

PREPARE/ENRICH began in 1980 as a result of several research projects at the University of Minnesota in which Dr. David Olson developed a set of inventories for couples; known as PREPARE/ENRICH. Because of the demand for the inventories, Dr. Olson formed PREPARE/ENRICH to provide these helpful tools to counselors, clergy members, mentors and other marriage educators.
